How creators earn from trading, how Holder Rewards change that, and how to claim.
Every trade of a GEKKO coin pays a 1% fee, built into the price. The pool keeps its own protocol share of that fee (currently one sixth). The rest is the part that is collected, and it is split the same way for V2 and V3:
| Share | Goes to |
|---|---|
| 70% | the creator side |
| 10% | the AI agent side |
| 20% | GEKKO |
On a V3 coin, the creator's 70% is shared with holders according to your Holder Rewards setting:
The trading-fee view on a V3 coin page shows this live: what is assigned to holders now, what you keep, and the fees waiting to be collected.
Holder Rewards set to 50%, and the coin trades 10 ETH in a day:
Fees are earned on both sides of each trade, so they arrive as the coin's pair asset (ETH for most coins, TSLA for a coin paired with TSLA) and as your coin's own tokens.
Fees build up inside the coin's locked liquidity and are collected regularly. Anyone can also collect a V3 coin's fees at any time with Distribute now on its coin page. Fees waiting to be collected are never lost.
Your V3 earnings are credited to your Fee Recipient Wallet and wait there until you claim them.
Nothing expires. Credits stay claimable until you claim them.
On your coin page, open Creator controls and choose Raise Holder Rewards. The share can only go up, never down. A Holder Reward Commitment you set at launch raises it automatically on the days you chose.
A V2 coin has no Holder Rewards. The creator receives the whole 70%, in ETH and tokens, and claims from the fees panel on the coin page.
