Swap trades one Robinhood Chain token for another. It is not limited to coins
launched on GEKKO, so a trade that would otherwise need a separate site happens here, in
your own wallet.
How to swap#
Connect your wallet. Nothing moves without your signature.
Choose the two tokens. The search box takes a name, a ticker or an address.
Type an amount. A quote appears with the amount you receive, the rate, the fees and
the minimum you will get if the price moves.
Check the minimum received. That figure, not the estimate, is what the trade
guarantees.
Confirm in your wallet. Paying with a token rather than ETH asks for an approval
first, then the swap.
Any listed token on Robinhood Chain against any other, including GEKKO coins.
ETH itself, as either side of the trade.
It never holds your funds. The trade settles from your wallet to your wallet.
It does not cross chains. To move between chains, use the Bridge .
It does not place limit orders. Every swap executes at the price when you confirm.
It does not vet tokens. Read Risk disclosures .
Slippage# The default is 0.5% , with 1% and 3% behind the settings icon. Higher lets a trade
through at a worse price; lower protects you but more trades fail.
What it costs#
GEKKO's fee, 0.1% of the amount you send.
A routing fee for finding and executing the trade.
The network fee , in ETH.
All of it is shown before you confirm.
If a swap fails# Your tokens stay where they were, less the network fee for the attempt. Try a smaller
amount or more slippage.
