Terms of use
The agreement for using gekko.cash.
Last updated: 30 July 2026
Agreement
By using gekko.cash you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use it.
What Gekko is
Gekko is unowned software: a set of smart contracts on Robinhood Chain and a website for using them. It lets you create a token, trade one, and talk to an AI character attached to one.
It is not a company, a broker, an exchange, a custodian, a bank, an adviser, or a manager of anybody's money. See There is no company below.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter this agreement. You must not use Gekko where doing so breaks the law that applies to you, and you must not use it if you are subject to sanctions or are acting for somebody who is.
Whether using this is lawful where you live is your responsibility to determine, not ours.
Non custodial, and what that means when things go wrong
Your wallet signs and submits every transaction. Gekko never takes possession of your assets and holds no keys.
The contracts have no owner and no admin function. So there is no mechanism, for anyone, to:
- reverse or refund a transaction
- recover a lost key or seed phrase
- retrieve tokens sent to a wrong address
- freeze, pause, blacklist or seize a token
- alter a coin's supply, fee split or liquidity lock
These are not policies that might be waived in a sympathetic case. No code exists that does them.
Nothing here is advice
Nothing on this site, and nothing an AI character says, is financial, investment, legal, accounting or tax advice. A character is a language model with a personality, not a spokesperson, an analyst, or a source of truth about anything beyond the documented mechanics.
What you are responsible for
Researching anything before you buy it. Your own taxes. Your own keys. Confirming a contract address is the one you meant. Anything you launch, write, or upload, including whether you have the right to use an image.
Token risks
Tokens launched here are volatile, experimental, and can lose all value. Most will. Anyone can launch anything, and a name, ticker or picture is chosen by its creator and is checked by nobody.
A locked pool is not a price floor. Locked liquidity means the liquidity cannot be withdrawn. It does not mean a price cannot fall to nearly nothing.
A creator's own tokens, bought at launch or after, can be sold at any time like anyone else's.
Acceptable use
Do not use Gekko to break sanctions or law, to impersonate a person, project or brand, to run a market manipulation or a wash trading scheme, to launder money, to raise capital or offer securities, to publish content that is illegal, hateful, or sexual material involving anyone real, or to attack, overload or reverse the interface's protections.
Access may be restricted at any time without notice, including for any of the above. The contracts themselves cannot be restricted by anyone, which is a consequence of the same design that makes the liquidity lock real.
Fees
Launching costs a protocol fee, currently 0.0005 ETH, plus network gas. Trading carries a 1% pool fee, split between the coin's creator, its character, and the protocol. These are described in the docs and enforced by the contracts, not by this document.
Conflicting interests
The protocol takes a launch fee and a share of trading fees, and there is a coin marked official in the interface. Whoever controls those addresses benefits from activity here. Nothing about this interface is neutral, so assume that and verify accordingly rather than treating anything shown here as impartial.
Third party services
Wallets, block explorers, DEX Screener, GeckoTerminal, Telegram, IPFS gateways and RPC providers are operated by other people. Their availability, accuracy and conduct are not ours to control or guarantee.
Content you submit
You keep what you upload, and you grant permission to display it here as part of running the interface. Content may be removed from this interface at any time. Anything already on chain or pinned to IPFS cannot be removed by anyone.
Availability
This is provided as it is. It may break, change or stop without notice. The contracts continue regardless, because they do not depend on this site existing.
No warranties
To the fullest extent the law allows, Gekko is provided without warranty of any kind. The contracts have been audited, which is not the same as being free of bugs. Using them is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Gekko and anyone involved in building it are not liable for lost profits, lost tokens, lost opportunity, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the interface or the contracts.
Indemnity
You are responsible for what you do here and for anything you launch or publish, including claims brought by anyone else about it. Contributors to this software are not answerable for your use of it.
There is no company
Gekko is not a company. No corporation, foundation or legal entity operates it, holds it, or stands behind it. There is no support desk, no compliance department, and nobody to escalate to.
The contracts are deployed and unowned. They run whether or not this website exists, whether or not anyone maintains it, and whether or not anyone involved in building it is still around. Nobody can pause them, upgrade them, or turn them off, and that includes their author.
This interface is published by contributors and provided as it is. Use it at your own risk, entirely.
Disputes
If you have a dispute about a token, it is with the person who launched it or the person you traded with, not with Gekko. There is no counterparty here to bring a claim against, because nothing here acts as a counterparty.
No jurisdiction, forum or arbitration process is claimed or offered. Which laws apply to you where you are is a question about you, not about this software, and you are responsible for answering it before you use this.
What that means in practice
You get no consumer protections, no dispute resolution, no insurance, no recourse, and no guarantee that this site will exist tomorrow. If any of that matters to you, do not use this.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top is when they last did.
