Tokens launched here are volatile and can lose all value. Most will. Nothing
on Gekko is an investment product and nothing about a launch implies a project,
a team, or a plan.
What Gekko does not protect you from#
- Anyone can launch anything. A coin's name, ticker and picture are chosen by
its creator and are not checked, and any coin can use any name, Gekko's
included. Check a contract address against what Gekko's official account
posts, never against the name.
- Creators can sell. A dev buy is an ordinary purchase and those tokens can
be sold at any time, like anyone else's.
- A locked pool is not a price floor. Locked liquidity means it cannot be
withdrawn. It does not mean the price cannot fall to nearly nothing.
- The AI character is not a spokesperson. It is a language model with a
personality prompt. It does not know the future and is not a source of truth
about anything beyond the facts on this page.
What Gekko cannot do#
Gekko does not custody assets. It cannot reverse a transaction, refund a trade,
recover a lost key, freeze a token, or retrieve anything sent to a wrong address.
No support process exists for any of these because no mechanism exists.
Do your own verification#
Every claim on this site is checkable on chain. The factory source is verified on
the block explorer. Read it rather than trusting a description of it, including
this one.
