A step-by-step guide to launching on V3, from an empty form to a live coin.
Open Launch (or go to gekko.cash/create). The V3 form opens by default. V2 is one click away in the version switch at the top, if you prefer it.
You need a wallet on Robinhood Chain with a little ETH: the launch fee (0.0005 ETH), the network fee for the transaction, and any amount you want to buy yourself. If your ETH is elsewhere, the Bridge brings it over.
If you pair your coin with TSLA instead of ETH, the launch fee and network fee are still paid in ETH, but your first buy is paid in TSLA, so have TSLA in the wallet too. See Coins paired with TSLA.
The wallet you launch from becomes the coin's Creator Wallet, permanently. Launch from a wallet you will keep.
Name, ticker, image and character are permanent once the coin is launched.
Names and tickers that look like GEKKO are reserved for the official GEKKO coin and cannot be used.
The Preview card on the right shows exactly how your coin will look on the homepage as you type.
You can buy your own coin inside the launch transaction itself, at the opening price, so nobody can buy in ahead of you.
Closed by default. Its header always shows what is set.
The summary shows the launch fee, your first buy, the total, your Holder Rewards and where your fees will go.
Anything still missing is listed in small red text above the button. Click a line to jump to that field.
Press Review launch. GEKKO reads every value from the chain again and simulates the launch before your wallet opens. The review shows your Creator Wallet, the full addresses involved, your coin's details, your settings, and the exact ETH the transaction sends.
Press Sign and launch, then confirm in your wallet.
The success screen shows your coin's address and what your first buy received. Press View coin page. For the first few moments the page may say your coin is live on chain and being added; it turns into the full coin page by itself, usually within a minute.
From the coin page you can share the link, watch trades arrive, and use your creator controls.
