A wallet on Robinhood Chain with some ETH. ETH pays for the coin and for the small network fee. If your funds are on another chain, use the Bridge.
Some coins are paired with TSLA instead of ETH. You buy those with TSLA, so you need TSLA in your wallet first; the trade panel does not turn ETH into TSLA for you. See Coins paired with TSLA.
The homepage shows every coin as a card:
Use the tabs (Hot Now, Newest, Market Cap, Volume and more), the 24h / 7d age filter, or the search box at the top to find a coin by name, ticker or address. Always confirm a coin by its address, never just its name: anyone can launch a coin with any name.
Selling works the same way: choose Sell, enter the amount of tokens, confirm.
Prices move. Slippage is how far the price may move between your quote and your trade before it is cancelled instead of filled. Choose 1%, 5% (the default) or 10% in the trade panel. Higher lets a trade through in a fast market at a worse price; lower protects you but more trades fail.
Nothing is lost except the network fee for the attempt. Usual causes: the price moved more than your slippage allowed, or not enough ETH was left for the network fee. Try a smaller amount or a higher slippage.
On a coin paired with TSLA, a buy first asks your wallet to approve exactly that amount of TSLA, and your first sell asks you to approve the coin once. Each approval is its own transaction with its own small network fee.
